2. What data we collect

  • Contact form and emails: your name, email address, phone number (if you choose to give it) and the content of your message, including anything you tell us about your game.
  • Business relationships: names, business contact details and correspondence of people at studios and partners we work with, and details needed for contracts and invoicing.
  • Player support: your name, email address, the game and platform concerned and the details of your question.
  • Technical data: when you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request in server logs.
  • Cookie choice: your choice in our cookie banner, stored in your own browser.
  • Advertising data (only with your consent): if you accept advertising cookies, Microsoft Advertising receives data about your visit, as described in section 6.

We do not ask for special categories of personal data, and we ask you not to send them to us.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Answering your message or support request – legitimate interest in replying to enquiries (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Preparing and performing publishing agreements and other contracts – performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Bookkeeping and keeping accounting records – legal obligation under the Danish Bookkeeping Act (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Running, securing and fixing faults on the website – legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Measuring our Microsoft Advertising campaigns – your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer.

4. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a contract: up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • Contract and business correspondence: for the duration of the contract and up to 3 years after it ends, in line with Danish limitation periods.
  • Accounting records: 5 years from the end of the financial year, as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act.
  • Server logs: normally no more than 30 days.
  • Cookie choice: 12 months, after which we ask again.
  • Advertising cookies: see our Cookie Policy.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers (data processors) who help us run the business, under data processing agreements:

  • website hosting providers;
  • email and office software providers;
  • accounting and bookkeeping providers;
  • form handling providers, where used to deliver contact form messages.

We may also share data with authorities when the law requires it, and with professional advisers bound by confidentiality.

6. Microsoft Advertising

If you accept advertising cookies, we load the Microsoft Advertising Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag. Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052, USA, then receives data about your visit, such as pages viewed, a cookie identifier, your IP address and browser information, so that we can see which ads led to visits and enquiries. Microsoft acts as an independent controller for some of this processing.

The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Without consent the tag is not loaded and no advertising cookies are set. Microsoft may transfer data to the United States. Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, on which the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 is based. Read more in Microsoft’s privacy statement.

7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Apart from the Microsoft Advertising processing described above, we aim to use service providers that store data within the EU/EEA. If data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we make sure an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses apply.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have incorrect data corrected;
  • have data erased, where there is no reason for us to keep it;
  • restrict our processing in certain cases;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • receive your data in a portable format (data portability);
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before you withdrew it.

To use your rights, email support@rocketfueltechnologiesaps.com. We reply within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk, or to the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live.

10. Changes

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
